Profile Details
- Vital Statistics This section highlights statistics such as age, time in the valley, hometown, and work experience.
- Rating We’ve developed a rating system that takes into account your time in the valley, work experience and recommendations.
- Rates You get to set the rates you’d like to charge in $5 increments.
- My Job Categories Everyone has more than one skill or talent. As a member of HireMeAspen.com, your profile can appear in up to 15 job categories for no additional charge.
- My Crew We all like to work with certain people. Here’s you chance to designate or join a crew. That way, when a hirer needs more than one worker for an event or job, they can choose you….and choose your friends.
- Connections It’s all about who you know. Increase your chances of getting hired by giving hirers a glimpse of who you know. 'More connections = more points. More points = higher rating. And even earn rewards at each connection milestone you reach.
- Availability Leaving town for the off season? Need a break? You choose your availability. Not only can you set up an availability calendar, but you can also show/hide your profile whenever you want.
- About Me This section is completely customizable. Although you can keep this section brief, we encourage you to express what makes you the ideal worker worth hiring. We include a sample to preview to help jumpstart the process.
- Experience Enter your relevant work history. List credentials and awards. Provide links to your Website, Blog, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Showcase up to 10 photos of your work in the Photo Gallery section.
- Job Categories We know that workers not only have more than one job skill, but each worker is an individual, and we want you to highlight that individuality.
- References Personal and work references are showcased in this section. The more recommendations your receive, the higher rating you’ll earn.
Marketing Your Services
We’ll get the word out. HireMeAspen is another opportunity for you to market your services to local homeowners, property managers and businesses in the valley.
We’re dedicated to being Aspen’s premier online resource directory that connects local workers to hirers. We promote HireMeAspen via local advertising, marketing, press coverage, mailers, flyers, partner programs, membership events, word of mouth promotion and jedi mind tricks so we’ll always be top of mind with hirers.
Partner Program
When you post a profile and become a HireMeAspen member, you can take advantage of all the discounts from our partners who want to support the local workers!
The current partner discounts are listed in The Hive. To take advantage of this benefit, you’ll receive a keytag designating you as a HireMeAspen member. When you see a “HireMeAspen Partner” decal in a storefront, be sure to take advantage of the discount that partner offers HireMeAspen members.
The Hive
When you become a member, you gain full access to The Hive, our exclusive “worker bee” community area of the website. This area is where you can connect and learn…whether that is attending a membership event or learn more about managing your side jobs.
Members can access the “Biz Buzz” section to see which events, businesses or individuals are currently hiring local workers. And you can see which hirers have a five star rating with the “Rate The Boss” feature only available to members. There’s also a Resource Directory, Worker Bee Spotlights, Partners Spotlights and much, much more.
Referral Program
Refer a friend who purchases an annual membership and receive a gift card. It’s that easy. Members can designate the gift card they’d like to receive. Current gift card choices include BP Amoco Gas Card, Target, City Market and Costco. This membership benefit is unlimited, so please spread the word!
